Recommended cities for a daily trip:

Tuscany is one of the most visited Italian regions; famous for its art, the small villages and the vineyards from where some of the world’s most famous wine comes from. Villa il Crocicchio is located very close to Florence, but also close to other beautiful cities such as Siena, Arezzo, Lucca and Pisa. If you drive through “The wine road” (via del vino in Italian), you will also be able to reach the “Chianti Classico” and “Gallo Nero” valleys.

Florence

One of the most artistic and cultural cities on the planet. The cathedral, “Ponte Vecchio” bridge, the “David” of Michelangelo, “Palazzo Vecchio”, and the Uffizzi gallery are only few of the example of art and architecture that characterise this fantastic city.

Siena

Surrounded by a breath-taking hilly landscape, Siena is one of the world best medieval cities. In “Piazza del Campo”, main square of the city, famous for “Palazzo Pubblico” and “Torre del Mangia”, every year an important horse race take place which involves the entire city: the “Palio di Siena”.

Arezzo

This small and elegant city is one of the richest of the region. In Arezzo we recommend a walk through “Corso Italia”, where you can find the “Pieve di Santa Maria”, and a visit to “Piazza Grande”.  If you want to have some rest, “Parco della Fortezza Medicea” is the perfect place for you; it is a lovely garden near the main cathedral of Arezzo.

Pieve di Cascia

The “Pieve di Cascia”, rural church in the small village of Cascia (Reggello), is one of the most beautiful Romantic style church in the area of Reggello and Valdarno. Here you can find a museum of Holy art with Florentine paintings, silverware and other ecclesiastic objects. Famous art work stored in this Pieve is the “Trittico di San Giovenale” of Masaccio.

Chianti

The Chianti valley in one of the most beautiful Tuscan Valleys. Worldwide famous for the production of wine, it offers an enchanting landscape characterised by vineyards, olive groves and fortified medieval villages.

Lucca

Lucca is famous for the Reinassance walls that are incredibly still intact around the city. Worth a visit are “Piazza dell’Anfiteatro”, the Cathedral, “Torre Guinigi” and “Torre delle Ore”, “palazzo Pfanner”, and the churches of “San Michele” and “San Ferdinando”.

Pisa

The city of Pisa is famous for the world unique architectonic complex called “Campo dei Miracoli”. Here you can find the leaning tower, the Cathedral, the Baptister and the “Campo Santo”. Few minutes from there you can also discover the beautiful and artistic city of Pisa.

Castello di San Mezzano

The Sammezzano Castle is famous for its Moorish Revival architectural style. It is located in Leccio (Reggello), and it is surrounded by one of the biggest Tuscan parks.

The Mall is a luxury outlet with some of the most prestigious fashion brands as Gucci, Armani, Dior, Cavalli, Bottega Veneta, Hogan and many more. The Mall is situated in Leccio, few minutes driving from Reggello.
